An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Assistant to join our fast-growing team at Venturi Healthcare in our 39 bedded care home in location. These positions are for 22 or 33 hours per week on nights, with weekend work included.
Sandy Banks Care Home provides a stimulating, specialist environment for residents who suffer from varying levels of dementia and general nursing requirements. Venturi Healthcare are looking to recruit staff who have a keen interest in dementia and caring for the elderly. You will be able to problem solve and remain calm under pressure. You are caring, honest and passionate about helping individuals remain active whilst maintaining their dignity and independence.
To be successful in this role you will be NVQ Level 2 trained in Health and Social Care or equivalent and be willing to complete further training. You are a standout colleague who is passionate about providing person centered and holistic care. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will enjoy working in a challenging environment and have the enthusiasm to make a difference to individual lives every day. As a Key Worker under the guidance of a Registered Nurse you will take responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of our residents.
As a Care Assistant you will establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, residents, visitors and other individuals visiting or working in the home. You will be required to represent the company as an honest, knowledgeable and meticulous ambassador.
